The Poppy Umbrella was originally created in 1998. It featured a unique red poppy design.

The umbrella was inspired by Flanders poppies growing on the battlefields of the First World War in Belgium and France.

After 24 years of supplying the Poppy Umbrella to the public and to shops and museums in several countries Rembrella ceased trading in 2022.
